Information you choose to add to your profile including bio, interests, activity preferences, and additional photos.

Location Data

With your permission, we collect your precise location to show nearby activities and other users on the live map. Location is only collected while the app is in use.

User Content

Photos, messages, and other content you share through the app including group chats and direct messages.

Usage Data

Information about how you use the app including activities joined, spaces created, and features accessed.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Socialout service
• Show your location on the live map to nearby users (only when you enable location sharing)
• Connect you with other users through activities and Spaces
• Send notifications about activity requests, friend requests, and messages
• Improve and develop the app
• Respond to support requests

3. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users

Your profile, activity history, and location (when enabled) are visible to other Socialout users based on your privacy settings.

With Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Resend (email delivery). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings, which will permanently remove your data from our systems.

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for location sharing at any time

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission, row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. However no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
