Account & Profile

Download Socialout, tap Sign Up, enter your email and follow the onboarding steps. It takes less than 20 seconds.

Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.

Go to Profile → Edit Profile → tap your photo.

Go to Profile → Edit Profile → tap your username.

Yes. You can browse the app without enabling location. Location is only needed to appear on the live map and see nearby activities.

Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy → Profile Visibility.

On the login screen tap "Forgot Password" and check your email for a reset link.

Activities

On the map tab, tap the + button, choose your activity type and fill in the details.

Tap any pin on the map → tap Join. For private activities, tap Request to Join and wait for the host to approve.

Open the activity detail → scroll down → tap Leave Activity.

Yes. When creating an activity toggle "Private" — only approved users can join.

Free users can have 1 active activity at a time. Basic Plan users get unlimited.

Open the activity → tap the menu → End Activity.

Make sure location is enabled and set to "While Using" in iPhone Settings → Socialout. Activity pins only show when other users are nearby.

Spaces

A Space is a permanent community group built around a shared interest — like a local basketball crew or hiking club.

Go to the Map tab → Spaces → browse and tap Join on any Space.

Available on the Basic Plan. Go to Spaces → tap the + button.

Open the Space → tap Leave Space.

Yes. Private Spaces require admin approval before members can join.

Subscriptions & Billing

Basic Plan unlocks unlimited activities, Space creation, Activity Insights, advanced Discover filters, profile view identity, and full workout features.

SGD 4.98/week, SGD 12.98/month, or SGD 98.98/year.

iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Socialout → Cancel Subscription.

Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. For refund requests visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Technical

Go to iPhone Settings → Socialout → Location → set to "While Using the App".

Try force closing and reopening. If it continues, delete and reinstall the app.

Go to iPhone Settings → Socialout → Notifications → make sure they're enabled.
